Short version: this site is a personal portfolio. It uses analytics, but does not sell or share your data, and does not set advertising cookies.

What this site collects

• Anonymous page-view analytics: page counts, referring sites, country-level location, and broad device type. No cookies, no personal identifiers. Used to understand which pages are read.
• Analytics cookies (only with your consent): page-view and engagement events from a third-party analytics provider. May include a truncated IP address, device and browser metadata, and a session identifier. Same purpose: understanding readership.
• Speaker booking form: only fires if you fill it in and submit. The fields you enter (name, email, organisation, event details) are emailed directly to Mathew and not stored in a database. Your IP is briefly recorded for rate-limiting and then discarded.
• Spam protection: the booking form uses a privacy-respecting CAPTCHA. No advertising tracking.

What this site does not do

• Sell or share your data.
• Set advertising cookies or run ad networks.
• Track you across other websites.
• Build a marketing profile of you.

Opting out

If you'd rather not be counted in analytics, browser-level Do-Not-Track preferences, an ad-blocker, or an analytics-blocking extension will block both the cookieless and cookie-based analytics on this site. Submitting the booking form is always opt-in.
